Our ranges

36 models. Each range has its own men’s and women’s versions, its own accessories and its own range of sizes.

How a diving suit is made

Five stages, all carried out at the Galatone factory. That is why a Teknodiver diving suit can still be traced even years later.

  1. 01 Development of the model on the cutting plotter

    Project

The model is drawn and developed using computerised techniques. The sizes are constantly updated: this is how the ranges for medium heights and tall people are created.

  2. 02 Cut neoprene panels

    Materials

Neoprene and linings are selected for each application, with a preference for hypoallergenic materials and components.

  3. 03 Use of the ‘Made in Italy’ label

    Packaging

Cutting and sewing take place in the workshops in Galatone. Every stage is checked in-house.

  4. 04 The tank leak test

    Testing

Every diving suit undergoes quality control, piece by piece. Drysuits are 100 per cent tested in a tank to check the integrity of the seams and watertightness.

  5. 05 Final inspection, part by part

    Registration number

Every component used is recorded: a sort of ‘DNA’ of the product, which makes it possible to trace the batch of materials even years later.

Services

The catalogue is the starting point. On request, the diving suit can be tailored to the wearer — and we continue to look after it even after purchase.

  • Applying a custom pocket

    Customisation

Once the model has been chosen, the diving suit is enhanced with pockets of various shapes and sizes, latex wrist seals, Kevlar reinforcements, ‘comfort zipper’ fastenings and other optional features.

  • The tape measure on the neoprene

    Made-to-measure tailoring

When no size fits, the diving suit is made to measure for the wearer. It all starts with the measurements sheet: 23 body measurements, which must be completed and sent along with your chosen model.

  • Repairs in the service department

    Support

Routine and non-routine maintenance carried out at the factory, with a spare parts store that reduces turnaround times. Every service call is recorded on the work order.

Certification

EN 14225

Drysuits in accordance with EN 14225-2:2005, wetsuits in accordance with EN 14225-1:2005. Each model is tested by certification bodies, undergoing performance tests, material stress tests, thermal loss tests and practical tests.

Each diving suit is labelled ‘Made in Italy’ at the end of the production cycle.
