Privacy and cookies

How this website processes the data of its visitors, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

In brief

This is a website consisting solely of information pages. It does not use its own cookies, has no statistics or traffic analysis systems, does not profile anyone and does not pass on data to anyone. There are no forms to fill in: the contact buttons open the visitor’s email programme, and the website neither sees nor records what is written.

The only thing that sends data out of here is the Google Map on the ‘How to find us’ page. Further down, we explain how this works and how to avoid it.

Who processes the data?

The data controller is Teknodiver S.r.l., Zona Industriale 5, Via Renata Fonte — 73044 Galatone (LE), Italy.
VAT number and tax code 02668750751 — REA LE 174487.
Email teknodiver@teknodiver.com — telephone +39 0833 832141.

Data collected whilst browsing

Like any website, the server hosting teknodiver.com automatically records certain technical information each time a page is viewed: IP address, browser and device type, date and time, and the page requested.

  • Why: to ensure the website works properly and to protect it from misuse.
  • Legal basis: the data controller’s legitimate interest in the security and proper functioning of the service (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
  • For how long: for as long as is technically necessary; the records are then automatically deleted.

This information is not used to identify individuals, nor is it linked to any other data.

The Google Map on the ‘How to find us’ page

The ‘How to find us’ page features a map provided by Google Maps. When that page opens, the browser contacts Google’s servers to download the map: at that point, Google receives the visitor’s IP address and may place cookies or similar technologies on the device, in accordance with its own policies, over which Teknodiver has no control.

  • Legal basis: consent, given by opening the page containing the map.
  • Where the data ends up: Google LLC may also process it outside the European Union, in accordance with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.
  • Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

How to avoid it. The map is only on that page: all the others do not connect to Google or any other external services. The address and directions are also written in plain text on the same page, so the map isn’t needed to find the business. If you don’t want it to load, you can simply avoid opening that page, or block third-party content via your browser settings.

If you write to us

The website does not contain any forms that collect or store data. If you write to teknodiver@teknodiver.com, the data contained in your message — your name, email address and any information you choose to provide — will be used solely to reply to you and to deal with your enquiry, and will be retained for as long as is necessary to do so.

  • Legal basis: response to a request from the data subject (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).

Who the data is disclosed to

The data is not disclosed or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. The technical service providers appointed for this purpose — in particular the hosting service provider, who has been designated as the data processor — may access the data to the extent necessary for the website to function. The above remains subject to the provisions regarding Google Maps, which is an independent data controller.

Your rights

At any time, you may request to:

  • to know which of your personal data are being processed and to receive a copy of them (Articles 15 and 20);
  • to have them corrected or deleted (Articles 16 and 17);
  • to restrict or object to the processing (Articles 18 and 21);
  • to withdraw consent that has already been given, without this affecting the validity of any actions taken previously (Article 7.3).

To exercise these rights, simply email teknodiver@teknodiver.com. Anyone who believes that their data is being processed incorrectly may contact the Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

Changes

Should the website change the way it processes data — for example, by adding a contact form or a statistics tool — this page will be updated before the change comes into effect.
